We work with the local authority and other organisations who refer those in need to us ; we can provide emergency food parcels, toiletries and clothing if needed.
Our focus is on those who are homeless or living in HMO housing in Blyth. We aim to support those who need it, signposting them to mentors in their search for work opportunities. We also have organisations who visit the Butty club to support our clients in other ways.
During the school holidays we aim to support families who may find it difficult to provide food for their families and work closely with schools to provide this service to our community.
Christmas time can also be difficult for some families, we provide toy parcels, gift bags and paper for many. We also make up especially festive food hampers too, with much of the food kindly donated by local supermarkets .
