Mark Deeks - Piano Recital

Mark's musical career has been as varied as it comes.   
From solo piano albums and leading choirs of up to 300 singers, to a PhD in heavy metal. From working with people such as Gareth Malone and Faye Tozer to two record deals with his black metal band Winterfylleth and solo doom metal project Arð about Northumbrian history!   
Mark has a passion for music unlike many others, and particularly loves to demonstrate the power of music to benefit our mental health through his work as a speaker, teacher and performer.  In this performance Mark will give a rare solo piano performance of both some of his original work, as well as piano interpretations of some of the music that has influenced him the most.
